Washington Island Music Festival's 33rd Season

Every year in August, Washington Island welcomes its Music Festival, a series of concerts led by co-directors Stefanie Jacob, Scott Tisdel and Teresa Drews. The Festival's events are now the heart of the Island's summer music schedule.

Our mission is to present a series of extraordinary performances of chamber music led by professional musicians, to implement and support the Music in the School Program for Washington Island students, and to provide opportunities for engagement with the people of Washington Island while generating economic activity for the community.

World-class musicians donate their talents to the Festival, spending two weeks living and performing on the Island and establishing strong ties to the Island community.

Concert will be held on the TPAC patio, followed by wine reception, hors d'oeuvres and dessert with the silent auction on the TPAC stage.

"Music for a Winter's Night"

"Music for a Winter’s Night" will be performed by pianists Stefanie Jacob and Teresa Drews at Trinity Lutheran Church. In addition, the W.I. Women's Ensemble will be singing with Kathi O'Connor accompanying the group, and Judy Baseman and Kari Gordon co-directing.

A reception will follow. All donations will go to the Music in the School program.
